Around 1 a.m. on 7 November, Russia began a new wave of ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Air Force reported targets in the direction of Kyiv, Brovary and Makariv, while strong explosions were heard in Kyiv and its outskirts. Ukrainian authorities declared air alerts in Kyiv and several other regions. In Kyiv, three people were injured, including one child. In the Solomianka district, debris damaged a five-storey residential building and a kindergarten; fires, broken windows and partial destruction of a two-storey kindergarten building were reported. A parked truck and a non-residential building also caught fire, and the fires were extinguished. In the village of Bohdanivka in Brovary district, a drone struck a private home, causing destruction and a fire. A married couple was trapped under debris; emergency services rescued the man, who was hospitalized with multiple fragment injuries and facial burns, while the woman escaped independently and was treated for an acute stress reaction.
