ホーコン8世
ハーコン8世は1905年から1957年までノルウェー国王を務めた。スウェーデンとの同盟解体後に王位につき、ノルウェー独立後の王制の正統性を支えた。第二次世界大戦中のドイツ占領下では、ナチス德国の 要求による退位を拒み、ロンドンに亡命してノルウェー抵抗運動の象徴となった。戦後、ノルウェーに帰国し、死去まで国王を務めた。

オスロで米・欧州・ Presentations? peace negotiations; Zelensky and Witkoff met
20 October, talks on ending Russia's war against Ukraine took place in Oslo between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Finnish President Alexander Stubb, with participation by representatives of the E4 countries, the EU and NATO. The discussions covered security guarantees, possible ceasefire formats, territorial questions, post-war reconstruction, sanctions and European security. A document setting out options for Ukraine’s security guarantees was prepared for transmission to Russia, and Witkoff was expected to travel to St Petersburg on 21 October.
