Ukraine, Russia and the United States have agreed to resume trilateral negotiations, although no date has been fixed and substantial disagreements over the terms remain. US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders in Oslo on October 20, then Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg on October 21. Moscow said it was generally prepared to resume talks in the first ten days of November, with Abu Dhabi being considered as a possible venue.
