なぜ重要か

The attacks caused a death and damage to homes and infrastructure in Kyiv. A strike on critical infrastructure disrupted electricity and water services in parts of the city while drone warnings were in effect. Emergency crews responded, and utility workers began restoring services.

何が起きたか

Russian forces attacked Kyiv overnight on 30 October and again with drones in the evening. One person was killed in Dnipro district, where falling debris partially destroyed a one-story building and caused a fire. A strike on a critical infrastructure facility disrupted electricity in parts of Obolon, Darnytsia, Desnianskyi and Podilskyi districts, and also caused water outages as the system lost pressure. In Darnytsia, fires affected a warehouse, rubbish, timber and the roof of a disused building; the fire was extinguished. In Shevchenkivskyi district, windows were damaged on the sixth and seventh floors of a 14-story residential building, without a fire. Windows and parked cars were also damaged at two locations. Emergency services attended impact sites and energy crews worked to restore power and water services.

ウクライナメディアの見方

Ukrainian reporting focuses on the confirmed death, district-level damage, fires, infrastructure disruption, emergency response and restoration work. It also distinguishes the overnight attack on 30 October from the later drone attack in the evening, which hit critical infrastructure.

海外メディアの見方

International coverage places the renewed Russian ballistic-missile attack on Kyiv within a broader live report of the war. It gives less detail on local infrastructure damage, the death, restoration efforts and disruptions to water and electricity.

背景

On 29 October, Russian forces attacked Dnipro, Chernihiv, Kremenchuk and Kyiv. At least 20 people were killed and more than 80, including children, were injured. Ukraine subsequently requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council following the missile-and-drone attacks.
