ウクライナの報道は、ウcknowled Ukrainian attacks, their consequences for Rosneft, and their gradual approach to Vostok Oil facilities. They interpret the fall in profit, rising debt, repeated repairs, and reduced refining as evidence of the long-term damage caused by the continuation of the war.
背景
Vostok Oil was launched in September to demonstrate Russia's ability to produce and process oil and to turn the country's northern region into an energy hub. Most oil transported through the project's pipeline came from older fields, while the new fields in the Payakh cluster accounted for less than 5% of flows immediately before the terminal opened. The project was intended to offset declining production at older Russian oil fields, many of which had operated since the Soviet period. Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine disrupted its development plans: foreign investors withdrew, and sanctions limited access to technology, equipment, and specialized tankers. In 2020, Rosneft president Igor Sechin proposed turning the Northern Sea Route into a major energy corridor.
